While the tax cut strips about $100 billion from federal revenues, the Social Security trust fund is theoretically left untouched as the Treasury will borrow more to compensate for the lagging revenue stream, adding instead to the national debt

The American people no longer believe every word out of the mouths of politicians, we now dig through the piles of dirt before we believe anything they have to say. We will prevail in the end...........

Social Security is tapped out already. They started borrowing against it long ago.

I never did understand how dipping from the revenue stream of a system already under financial stress is a a solution...a high stakes version of robbing Peter to pay Paul.
