More and more I ask the question, why were people given a voice? I do believe it was given to us as a form of communication. It comes in many forms.
Back in the Stone Age, they found that they could utter sounds, much to their amazement and joy.
The animal kingdom communicates with their sounds and song more than we do any more. What, and why has this been allowed to happen to us? Every time I turn around these days, there is some new techno gadget they are trying to sell to everyone that will buy them. Now, you don't even have to go home to watch television, nor get on the internet. It is all right there in one techno gadget for your squinty-eyed viewing, and carpal tunnel texting. To think, you don't even have to call someone and actually have to talk to them anymore. Isn't technology just great these days?
Almost forgot one, now you don't even have to read an actual paper book. They have a new gadget for that now also for your digital squinty-eyed viewing and reading. Now you don't even have to own any type of book, nor go to the Public Library. Music, videos, games, etc. are also right there for the viewing and tuneout earplugs. I probably have missed something here, but then I'm not using my actual voice to write this article. The words are flowing from my brain to the tips of my fingers onto the keyboard writing this article. At least I'm using my brain in a creative and constructive manner these days.
By the way, how much is this costing the average person to use these gadgets? I do think there are alot of billionaires out there that profit from all these techno gadgets, don't you think so? They are laughing all the way to the bank while you struggle to pay the bill!
The behavior of the American people is slowly and constantly being modified. How often do you actually talk to people these days? If I could speak these words instead of writing them, you can bet that I would do just that; but who would listen? People have forgotten how to communicate with each other using their voice. The loneliness, depression, isolation, is setting in all across the United States. These are difficult times for all people, and we need to reach out to each other and speak a word or two. Share yourself with another human being, and you will be glad you did.
