You need to read the small print on those Surgical Release Forms, else you'll lose some body parts.

Here we go again, Arizona still in the news. This time at least it is a different city, Tucson. I guess I'm trying to keep myself in humor today, else I will freakout with what is happening here today. Went to my Pulmonary Specialist this AM, glad hubby was with me. He helps me with my oxygen tank when we are out. The staff offered no assistance whatsoever, the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. You can read between the lines here. Well, now they don't used testicles as transplants nowadays, do they?? Poor guy, hope he wins.

Perhaps in lieu of a cash settlement he could have one of the surgeon's testicles transplanted!

What!! A lawsuit over something like this?!!?! Are they "nuts"??
Ouch!! I do feel sympathy for the guy, but a lawsuit will have the lawyers absconding all the money and probably leave him holding the bag.
I know....shame on me...... but I just can't help it.

I am a registered nurse and I have to say that there is absolutely no excuse what so ever for this situation. If the forzen section came back positive while the patient was still on the table, then I can see where they would have removed the testicle. But this would mean there was a questionable reading of the frozen section. Either way, when it doubt, especially when such a simple surgery, don't remove it until you have definitive results. Then you can make a final decision as to what to do.
