This is what bugs me today..................

Have doctor's appointment to get results from tests that were done in December of 2009, by the way today is March 24, 2010. Called numerous times for results, got answering service. Push this button, or push that button; and recording tells you "we'll get back to you". Do they ever get back to you? No!! This is your primary care doctor that has been your doctor for over 10 years. Always cared about the patient, but now I'm beginning to question.

Okay, now waiting to be seen by my doctor. You observe the other people also waiting for their turn, and you notice that you seem to be very thin in comparison. I know that the diet and other things have alot to do with weight, but I think to myself, "I'm okay in the weight department, I'm a senior citizen and a size 10".

Now you get called, weighed and blood pressure taken; and you wait for the doctor. You are prepared with a list of questions, and wait patiently while your chart is being reviewed. The first thing out of your doctor's mouth is, "I see you have gained 2 lbs., that's not good" she exclaims!! Yet even the majority of her staff weigh over 200 lbs., but that is okay???

I was soooo poed!!! I am sick and tired of all this talk about one's weight!!! True, there are people that should lose weight, but I feel that it is being pushed down everyone's throat just like the new Health Reform Bill has been. Now, they are doing their damnest to destroy whatever self-esteem we have left. The food industry, fashion industry, cosmetic industry, pharmaceutical industry, medical industry, government industry, yes; industries, because that is what they are. $$$$$$$$$$
